About Me

.....Since I was 9 I have experienced various forms of psychic information. At that age I was answering the phone by greeting the person I knew would be on the other end -- until my father made it quite clear that he'd prefer I stopped since it was unnerving to those calling the house! So many interesting and unusual events from then until now (I'm 61) have occurred in my life which confused me or saved me, that it would not be practical to try to tell you about all of them. But I will mention one time when I was in my early 20's and prayed to God for roots. I felt I needed stability in my life and specifically asked for "roots". Just a few short moments after that prayer I met my future wife, whose maiden name was Root! (We'll be celebrating our 37th anniversary later this year.)

.....So, over the years psychic experiences occurred from time to time, but I didn't really understand them or, for that matter, want them. In 1980 I was working at a funeral home while I was a graduate student, and the psychic gift "flared up"! One evening I received a call and at the end of the conversation I said, "I don't understand why, but I believe I know everything about you." The woman on the phone then asked me several questions, all of which I answered correctly. Well, that had been interesting but I didn't think it signified anything special. In the morning when my shift was over I went across the street to a grocery store and while in line I observed the cashier and just knew she was upset my something. When she rang up my items and put the change in my hand, I looked at her and said, "Your brother who is in a hospital in Wisconsin will be okay." She looked at me and -- screamed -- and started crying!! Everyone thought a robbery was being committed. After that particular excitement died down (and yes, her brother was in a hospital in Wisconsin and she had told no one locally about it), there followed about a two week period of overwhelming psychic information coming to me. I could feel the pain and feelings of people wherever I went.

..... At the advice of a psychic in Virginia Beach, I asked God to take this away from me. The following morning it was gone. I could again walk through the malls without knowing every person's thoughts. I praised and thanked God. The psychic also explained that I was not ready to accept the gift yet, but that at another time it might come back. It did "pop up" once or twice more over the years, but each time I again prayed to have it taken away and it disappeared. In 1993, I was speaking before a large group at a conference in Williamsburg, Virginia when the energy suddenly returned. When asked about a specific question about stress (the topic of the program), I answered specifically and then went into a psychic explanation of what was happening to this person. The individual was impressed and asked how I did that. I told her I was pretty good at guessing -- from previous experience of interviewing people on a radio program -- and even as I drove home it still had not fully struck me that the gift had returned once more.

While I am a psychic medium, it should also be stated that I am also a dyslexic and for the first 21 years of my life didn't know about that either . . . but that's another story . . . .
